It still seems like they should have been cheaper at the brick and mortar location. But maybe that's just foolish. So I was willing to shop EvilCo for this deal at least. I'm suspicious that they will be stale at that price. But the brand at least is well-regarded.

It's a niche item that not too many people probably want. But I did just see (and order three bags, will put two in the freezer) of 22oz. Lavazza Super Crema Whole Bean Coffee (Medium). For $7.20 each. Which is a really good current price for whole coffee beans. If they were recently roasted.

They did also have some beefless bulgogi strips that I really liked. But the soy sauce and gochujang that I would add to them are just too much for my chronic illness to handle. :(

I still like the hamburger patty replacement ones. I get a frozen bag of them when I run out. Which takes a while. I eat about two a month. :) And I think Trader Joe’s still have their soyrizo. They are a ways away from me, so I don’t go often. I think that’s still my favorite meat replacement…

But I'd 100% rather have Soyrizo (or really the trader joe's knockoff) rather than this. That's way better than the real mexican-style chorizo even when I'm eating meat. Easier to cook with and less concern about kitchen cleanliness knife sharing issues. And no thymus or salivary glands.

Also, I realize that if I had made it with ground turkey, I would have cooked it with black beans and canned diced tomatoes to stretch it out and add some other tastes/textures. I guess I should have done that here. 2.5/5. Maybe I’ll try it again sometime and see if I can do better.

So, why not? Cheap own brand taco shells, some shredded cheese, lettuce (my own hydroponic, came in very handy when everybody else only had poop lettuce), salsa. Hmm. Disappointing. Sort of like Taco Bell meaty sludge. Which now that I think about it is probably what they were going for…

Have been avoiding buying this because of price. Over three dollars for 10 oz. But I haven’t bought ground beef in years. And the ground turkey I would normally make white person tacos with has gotten quite expensive too. And I like some meat substitutes (and have been vegetarian for stretches)…

Earth Grown vegan taco filling. Green package with a picture of tacos that are going to be much better than the ones I’m going to make.

Ad blocker stopped working for me on youtube years ago. Is there a currently available free one? Maybe it's different in the Cold White North. I think that the only ones that seemed to work the last time I checked were associated with browsers that were also sketchy for some reason or another.

There were some things that I might have bought (nordic ware aluminum baking sheets or cheap dish towels) if I hadn't bought them on a previous sale. One thing in my buy-it-again list happened to be a prime deal and I reordered. I saw a TV that I briefly considered. But don't need.

I did buy 6 rolls of name brand Duck Tape for 10 bucks. I did happen to need a roll of Duck Tape. It would have been 4 or 5 bucks. Maybe I didn't really "save" money because I ended up getting 6 rolls. But that's the same thing that happens to me at Costco. :)

Maybe just once more than a small handful of outlier politicians can show a little bit of courage here. And you can recognize that polls are influenced by how politicians act. If everyone slinks around the question and tries mealy-mouthed triangulation, you lose the chance to move opinion...
