This is so cool! Being able to see a RPGF round's funds being directly streamed to projects, their maintainers and their dependencies in real time, awesome work by everyone at @drips.network. Funding #opensource matters to everyone! filecoin.drips.network/app/drip-lis...

What are some of the issues you think #opensource is facing? We talk about funding a lot, but what about #AI and the rise if #vibecoding, are #devs under threat? What changes would you like to see? youtu.be/0XqwXj0Rrx0

Bye bye, Windows 10! Microsoft is stopping support for the operating system today. If you're still using it, now is a good time to consider alternatives such as Linux, which is free and open source (like LibreOffice): blog.documentfoundation.org/blog/2025/10... #endof10

If you’re so new to tech that you didn’t know Microsoft owns these things then you’re also too new to tech to have a negative impression of Microsoft as a developer.

#opensource is a better alternative to closed software, it’s more reliable, iterative and secure, but from top to bottom, funding is unreliable, and major corporations put undue pressure on developers and maintainers, so let’s change this, youtu.be/0XqwXj0Rrx0

#opensource is broken, we love it, we maintain it, but the lifestyle around it can be a burden, we made this film with @drips.network to try and highlight the discourse but also the love that exists The Broken System of Open Source (And How We're Fixing It) youtu.be/0XqwXj0Rrx0

Open source is the invisible infrastructure that powers the internet, but the system for funding it is broken Check out our short film, shot at @devcon.org feat @lftherios.bsky.social, Carl Cervone, Chris Lema & Slobo.eth Shot by @sjcreativestudio.bsky.social #opensource #devs #funding #devcon

A real solution for #opensource? People argue open source is free, why should I pay for it. But so many platforms exist on a bedrock of open source. Imagine you're a #developer, you create something because it was a fun problem to solve, but then you're expected to maintain it... forever!

This could fix open-source funding! 🤯 #shorts

#OpenSource provides fantastic, innovative and potentially tariff resistant alternatives to Adobe, Microsoft, Google etc. But these open source innovations are always under threat by the power (money) that the tech giants wield, support open source and incentivise resisting takeovers.
