My pick is Ray Charles’s version of “Till There Was You” in the verse that ends “sweet fragrant meadows of dawn & dew.” I love how on “and dew” his intonation goes slightly up as if he wants you to know it's really quite remarkable about the dew. 010

A great book. You should check out Matt Kish's "Moby-Dick in Pictures: One Drawing for Every Page" when you're finished. 140

He kept coming out w/sentences Eng., German & Spanish simultaneously, like "Nuestro arrival gate es A-dreizehn." As the beverages rolled in he said "Ladies and Gentlemen we regret to tell you that on this flight the red wine has been delivered." 030
