The Wings of the Dove is ~like a Chuck Close. Henry James delineates small spaces & then sculpts them with exquisite color, light & form, & then your mind sews all the spaces together.

I believe Henry’s process is similar. His style is very abstract and process driven. He knows what he is doing in each small section even as he wonders into abstraction and not defining something exact. And he lets your mind build story

I remember leaving a BoH Philly show after The Funeral (1st encore) & a jerky plaid hipster mocked us for waiting for the hit & fleeing back to the suburbs! lol. We had 2 small kids back home & had equally come to see Jason Lytle open so were there really early. Every occasion — even a BoH show.
