YES!! they are the BEST pets. however their lifespans made me have to step away from parenting them, but I love how smart and adorable dumbo rats are ❤️❤️

I know it's not the same, but something that helped when I was quitting drinking was "I will not drink with you today" it's not a forever commitment, it's just today. recovery is a spring, sometimes you're closer to the bottom, but you're not starting at 0 just take care of yourself today ❤️

if you click on the three bars in the top left hand corner, there is an activities section. In their First Aid section, there are grounding activities. I practiced while I was mildly anxious, and I was able to remember and use one of the activities to calm down ❤️

they generally hide somewhere when they are blinded by the blue. So my snakes are usually incognito for a week when they shed! however, Boots doesn't always know where she is, so she thinks she's hiding here 😂 certain snakes also brumate in the winter which is their version of hibernation.

getting high helped a lot, so I think mine was mostly stress. cutting out tomatoes, garlic, and peppers also helps. there was a drug I was on but I couldn't get the generic that helped a lot. I wish I could remember 😭
