That being said, we usually have up to 2 weeks of early voting and there is a lot more flexibility in being able to vote in that 2 weeks than on that one single day in November. In that regard, I also share your frustration in people standing in line on that last day who could have voted early.

Some of us live in states where it's not permitted except under specific circumstances. For example, Texas (where I live) has the following requirements (that I do not meet) on who can vote by mail:
