1/2 Well, #BillC-5 just passed in the #SenateofCanada without amendments, but with a government commitment to amend it in the fall to ensure the public registry includes info about how projects will contribute to clean growth and to meeting Canada's climate objectives.

It has a larger population than the two Canadian provinces that are islands and is (I believe) the only former British colony in Canada to not become a unique province (because it had been amalgamated with mainland BC prior to Confederation).
