Have a friend who did this two years on the trot and he's droned on about it ever since. It seems to be Burning Man for a certain sort of person.

A damning indictment of Khan's refusal to use his powers over the rate of VAT, smh.

To paraphrase Homer Simpson: "To acquire goods and services money must be used." I think the suspicion of service charges is linked to the under-appreciation of just how much it costs to maintain the capital value of a building as an owner-occupier.

In an effort to get me to pony up for a paid sub, Life360 critique my driving each week. Chat, I've not driven for 2 months or even been in a car for weeks. Where do I sign up?

As a robust no-nonsense billionaire I encouraged you to vote for brexit to make *yourselves* poorer not to make me poorer.

I hear you but I think even the increasing unpopularity of the Iraq war is more easily explained by the continuation of body bags coming home, than the geopolitical and humanitarian disaster it evidently was.

But the people who were affected were Americans. I'm not saying Americans are incapable of empathy, just that they don't believe that people in the rest of the world are real.

I didn't watch but that's a great result. Last year Joburg was a nightmare to visit for everyone.

Surely "Americans fine with murdering foreigners but livid about anything above mild inconvenience for themselves" is not news is it.

Anyway subway is vile but is a guilty pleasure. Last one I had was near Paddington, it cost well over 10 quid and I had to use the worst self service system I've encountered. (Effectively added 50% to the time for no reason.) guilty pleasure: cured.

Gas power costs are reaching energy crisis levels again in the UK, which will inevitably push bills up for consumers. The fortunes of the British economy are still tied to the price of a single fossil fuel. When bills go up, remember that this is the reason why.

Not to nitpick, but the platonic ideal requires that the rubes fall for it. (I've no view on the latter, btw)
