South Korea's 49th PM knew AI should fund UBI. This is common sense policy now that all technologically advanced societies should adopt. "I am considering the idea of combining the massive wealth that will arise in relation to the AI great transformation with basic income." UBI works.

A recent survey found that 92% of U.S. adults have delayed or avoided medical care due to high costs. Meanwhile, a new study from Yale estimates that Medicare for All would save over 114,000 lives and $1 trillion a year. If this country was truly “pro-life,” we would have universal healthcare.

Yep - this is one of the fascinating dimensions of our current predicament. Renewable energy clearly belongs to all of us and none of us: who owns the power of the sun? But we lack the democratic power (and imagination) to reclaim our common source of energy. Do we want to liberate ourselves?

Watching a US TV series where the London scenes were clearly inauthentic… everything was too dilapidated. So I asked the internet where they were filmed. Yep, my beloved North of England. (Not telling you where, we have our pride even if they’ve taken our money.)

Turns out that being born with a basic income of $333/mo and living with it for the first 4 years of life results in slightly slower biological aging. Because slower aging predicts longer, healthier lives in adults, this suggests UBI from birth could mean longer lives and lower healthcare costs.

The Just World fallacy is a helluva drug. The rich love getting passive income and feeling they earned everything they get, and feeling the poor deserve to be poor because they aren't making good choices. Meanwhile, many of the poor and working class go along with this in the hope they too will WIN.
