I have asked people complaining what it is they think we should be doing and I get nothing in the end. Although one woman said all 340 million people should be in the streets 24/7. Which is obviously not possible (90 mil children, 72 mil disabled, at least 50 mil support T) I’m so sad 😭

I realize it seems good for that. But this is the sticky point. No, we the people can’t. We have impeachment, and the 25th Amendment. Both of those are implemented by Congress. Congress is ruled currently by republicans. And they will not ever admit defeat on this. So now what?

I keep having this conversation with people screaming about how we aren’t doing enough. I explain one aspect, and the next is brought up. Then it circles back. A strike… so, don’t pay my taxes next year? I don’t assume you are a snob. But I don’t think most people understand how our system works

We can’t remove our leaders… only our leaders can do that. (Huge problem that I hope we fix) We also can’t make them do anything they don’t want to do. We can fill the streets… that doesn’t mean they will act on it. We call our representatives, donate, protest, and vote. Thats our system Sucks

Very different. We don’t have universal healthcare. Nobody is saying “only” vote. You have been here… are you in the streets every day? If you have the answer, go ahead and give it. Tell Americans exactly what we should do. It seems pretty obvious that nothing we do will be enough.

first time we have had A leader like this with a party with all the power backing him no matter what. Corruption is off the charts and while we can yell and scream (which isn’t enough either)… our best chance at this point is to vote. Let us try to fix it before giving up on us. That was my point.

Do you think nobody is protesting?? My city has multiple every week. And no kings is big (wish it was bigger, wish it was at least monthly). News has been bought, they don’t show most of this. And don’t forget most peoples healthcare is tied to their job. Nobody thinks voting is the only dissent
