I think the final issue is that the industry has moved away from #LP #Albums and towards the (lazy) #EP concept of half an album. Its aimed at Streaming Services, where they get under 5% of the revenue they get from physical media. Logical!

Plus on the commercial side, there are: 1) #Remasters that sound nearly exactly the same as the original but with #compression added 2) #Vinyl releases that are lazy #CD transfers and sound somehow worse 3) #HighQualityAudio such as #FLAC that sounds no better than a #CD

I've come to the conclusion that #Mainstream #Music nowadays is incredibly boring. It seems its either: 1) #Tribute Bands who create their own half-baked albums. 2) Albums from #musicians where half the songs feature another Act 3) " #Experimental " music that's just #FLstudio garbage 4) #AI #Slop

Interestingly, several big AI vendors are now chopping and changing their subscription plans after they've realised they are losing money for each prompt. Several are imposing usage limits, adding random wait queues or even getting into screaming matches with shareholders.
