Do you like space? Do you like dense layers of synthesizer? Do you like melancholic, solemn piano and vocals? We have that too. Listen or watch Cycles, our 12-minute debut single. linktr.ee/XEELEE #progsky #metalsky #progressivemetal #progmetal #prog

Exactly, and it often undermines the creator's original intentions.

I'm currently playing Chrono Cross and I've never played it before, so how can it be nostalgia? I just like experiencing old things as they came out. That's why I generally don't like remasters, even of something like Star Trek: The Next Generation where they updated with CGI.

There is a fucked up irony that the US is eviscerating core elements of its soft power in a private equity like process in order to ensure that power is consolidated to specific oligarchs with a specific ideology and colalition

I'm convinced AI is our generation's radium - a discovery with genuinely useful applications in specific, controlled circumstances that we stupidly put in everything from kid's toys to toothpaste until we realised the harm far too late where future generations will ask if we were out of our minds.

Holy hell, I must watch this. I'll have to check if it's in one of the early Blu Ray collections of his work, I just got Vol. 3.

A world where a twist ending is repurposed as a video title. where a thing's climax has been removed, leaving an advertisment for the gap where it used to be. such things are commonplace in. the twilight zone

Yesterday I finished Silo season 3 with an old, grizzled Tim Robbins. Today, watching Hill Street Blues S05 E03, who do I see? Why, a fresh faced, bushy tailed Tim Robbins (and Michael Biehn playing an absolute POS).

I remember seeing waterboarding for the first time and thinking "That's just how my Dad indifferently washed my hair with a cloth over my face as a kid, while ignoring my protestations"

Very interesting! I read Flesh recently, I love all of Octavia Butler, and I did like AP. I will have to check out the other two (I only read my first King novel recently; Misery).

I switched off in season 1 shortly after the scene where the women complain another woman is not doing her job of dishes and laundry because she's out patrolling (a perfectly normal thing) and it was left unexamined by the show, this default division of labour.
