I think I have more sketches lying around but these ones at least have notes to translate the mess, I love my fashion girls! the left drawings were done on different canvases so they ended up at different heights which is killing me lmao, the right side is more accurate

a Procreate screenshot of two different fashion looks for two different fictional women: one is a petite and pale blonde with a punk or alt vibe and the other is a taller fat dark-skinned woman who is more elegant and feminine. both of their red carpet looks reflect their respective styles, drawing inspiration from Irish lace-making and Ethiopian embroidery, respectively.

the way I wrote this and then like 24 hours later that goddamn dressmaker game blew up on my socials I literally manifested this

a highlighted passage from my bullet journal entry for October 1st that reads: I've been watching Chris Klemons's red carpet roasts for so long now that it's got me arrogantly thinking I could design good red carpet looks and then I realized that I literally have two OCs that are fashion designers and models... my freaking mind...

still have no idea why my aunt felt the need to say that to us #art #comic

a three-panel comic. the first panel shows me as a teen with my cousin (also a teen) and her mom, my aunt. we're all at a table doing various activities while The Ballad of Lucy Jordan by Marianne Faithfull plays in the background. In the second panel, my aunt casually mentions that she's the same age as the titular character, who is assumed to have killed herself "at the age of 37". The third panel has my aunt going back to vibing while I look incredulous and my cousin, her daughter, looks horrified. there is a fun footnote mentioning that the lyrics were originally by Shel Silverstein.

I did the US dialect map quiz I keep seeing and something has gone horribly wrong. mydialect.us/quiz-full.html

the exact same heatmap but now with an arrow pointing at a circle around Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania labeled "I live here (and always have)" and a blue dot slightly to the west labeled "the farthest west I have ever been on Earth".

I genuinely owe Superman/Clark Kent and his creators a formal apology because yesterday I learned just how much work a pair of glasses can do to someone's appearance #art #comic

a two panel comic. the first panel says "what my doctor looked like at my appointment" and the doctor is a handsome middle-aged man with streaks of gray in his hair, stubble, and a warm smile, surrounded by shoujo-style roses and sparkles. The second panel says "what he looked like on the clinic website" and the doctor looks cartoonishly cute and dorky with big, thick glasses and a huge smile. there are sparkles around him still but instead of shoujo-style roses he's surrounded by a nerd emoji and that one happy hamster wearing a propeller hat meme.

the second Aubrey said "they wouldn't get a doctor who bought their MD from a grifter school a SECOND time right?" I immediately knew but I looked it up anyway and. yeah they did in fact do that a second time.

transcript from the episode where Aubrey mentions that Nicole Saphier attended medical school at Ross University in Barbados. when Michael asks if it's another for-profit private school, Aubrey admits she isn't sure and that she didn't check because "they're not going to do that again" (a previous nominee attended a for-profit private school).
