THIS JUST HAPPENED. 🤯🏆 Tycoon: India 1981 has earned the Seal of Excellence from The Dice Tower - a badge very few games ever get. 🎥 Watch the review: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yfz4...

Had an amazing and intense 3-week board game design workshop at Chitkara Design School. We spent the first days playing and dissecting games, then dove deep into the design process, common mechanics and the grind of iterative development.

Final days to go and we’re so close to our next Stretch Goal! Over the weekend, Anand Boardgame Club in Gujarat played Tadoba, Sinauli, and Muziris in full PNP format — with laughs, competition, and even a last-round 1-point upset in Sinauli! Thanks ABC 🥰 #pnp www.kickstarter.com/projects/sid...

Got to play Wroth and Tycoon: India 1981 with Adam tonight. Wroth is interesting and quick but didn’t work great at 2. Tycoon: India 1981 is a great economic euro and I’m excited to play it again.

🧡At IBGDC, the decision to base our games around Tadoba, Sinauli, and Muziris comes from a deeply personal place. These regions are close to the hometowns of our core team members—Deepak from Kerala, Amit from Maharashtra, and Neha from Uttar Pradesh. www.kickstarter.com/projects/sid...

@boardgamehottakes.bsky.social Tycoon: India 1981. Economic entanglement with some very combo-y action selection amidst the backdrop of the Indian industrial revolution.

A simply amazing, thematic euro I'd say, with one of the neatest scoring I can find! The rulebook is fiddly, so there are chances of misinterpreting things. Apart from that, a lovely evening spent building the "Autobahn" of Germany and beyond! #boardgames #eurogames #cardgames #autobahn #kickstarter

Players play as students trying to pass their strategy exam, as they play "Civolution" - extremely satisfying game with a ton of things possible to do (which you won't necessarily explore in the first few games to say the least). No doubt, a great CIV game, tons of cards, tiles, tokens, meeples...

As we close 2024, we’re filled with gratitude and excitement, thanks to the incredible experiences at Meeplecon Mumbai, TTOX Bengaluru, and Unboxed Game Fest Ahmedabad. These conventions were a true celebration of gaming, community, and the growing love for board games in India
