This is a game I've been looking forward to for years, by the designer of Sol: Last Days of a Star. Currently unfunded on Kickstarter. Please take a peek.

@boardgamehottakes.bsky.social Very much enjoying March of the Ants. My favorite from 2025 so far (and better than anything from 2024 👀)

Got a play of Age of Comics in with @dupthedodger.bsky.social and Adam last night. Clever worker placement games about publishing and selling comics. Loved the production with all the unique comic titles.

We don’t post non-boardgame stuff often but we do appreciate democracy and oppose kings so the BGHT crew was glad to be a part of the anti-fascism, anti-dictator, anti-monarch protests today. Long Beach, CA pictured here.

@boardgamehottakes.bsky.social Tycoon: India 1981. Economic entanglement with some very combo-y action selection amidst the backdrop of the Indian industrial revolution.

@boardgamehottakes.bsky.social Wings of Glory. WWI dogfighting in historically accurate, largely unproven and untested aircraft. A description that puts me to sleep but I found everything about the game very engaging.
