Some friendships this month have truly shown how special they are to me, while others have proved the opposite. Take note of who shows up for you when you're at your worst.

the arrival times at this facility feel much more like suggestions than start times, every appointment seems to start 45 minutes later than expected (at least).

Went my whole life not having an opinion on Ed Sheeran - boy has that changed now

how am I? New meds fucked me up so bad I ended up in hospital. GPs seriously have no idea what they are prescribing 👍

020

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

These new meds don’t know what to do with me - last week I felt mostly fine, today I feel an overbearing sense of dread and continuous anxiety. new brain please. make it a hot one.

He's one of those people that has just started appearing in things so I googled him. He's got an insufferable gossip podcast turns out.

I'm really enjoying Adults season 2 - but I really don't understand the appeal Jake Shane has on the world. Anytime he shows up in anything, I'm instantly irritated

I don't know. briefly felt good - will probably delete

challenge: the app actually has to load up first 🙈

010

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

also, has this all just ceased to work?

Switching from an SSRI to an SNRI and feeling pretty diabolical 🤮

000

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

maybe I’m sensitive to this issue right now because of my own circumstances, but posts like this really annoy me. Perhaps people are just at a point in their lives, and mental health, where anti-d’s are necessary or helpful — and posts like this just make you feel like shit for taking them🖕

can we save the emergency alerts for earthquakes and nukes, please?!

031

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

It felt rooted in Peter’s and *REDACTED’s* worlds, making for an interesting character study, rather than rehashing yet another Spider-Man versus classic villain arc.

Had about 24 hours (ish!) to reflect on it now. Best Spider-Man film; Tom Holland really nails it! Not relying on his traditional villains and Marvel-world-ending stakes made this a far more engaging film.

give him the emmy right now

010

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

please just leave us alone 😭 - this SSRI dependent boy can’t handle any more

I was, however, deeply glad to see less of Isaac reading his book through every social situation.

both Locke and Connor proving they have serious acting chops and will no doubt go onto great careers.

braved Heartstopper Forever last night. Overall very good, but rushed, especially for the supporting cast - which was expected given it should have been a full series. Also a couple of the supporting cast were clearly done with the show and phoning it in.
