Some friendships this month have truly shown how special they are to me, while others have proved the opposite. Take note of who shows up for you when you're at your worst.

the arrival times at this facility feel much more like suggestions than start times, every appointment seems to start 45 minutes later than expected (at least).

Went my whole life not having an opinion on Ed Sheeran - boy has that changed now

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

how am I? New meds fucked me up so bad I ended up in hospital. GPs seriously have no idea what they are prescribing 👍

020

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

These new meds don’t know what to do with me - last week I felt mostly fine, today I feel an overbearing sense of dread and continuous anxiety. new brain please. make it a hot one.

I'm really enjoying Adults season 2 - but I really don't understand the appeal Jake Shane has on the world. Anytime he shows up in anything, I'm instantly irritated

I don't know. briefly felt good - will probably delete

some days I just don’t really know why I hang on

010

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

also, has this all just ceased to work?

010

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 28/08/2026

Switching from an SSRI to an SNRI and feeling pretty diabolical 🤮

000

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 18/08/2026

maybe I’m sensitive to this issue right now because of my own circumstances, but posts like this really annoy me. Perhaps people are just at a point in their lives, and mental health, where anti-d’s are necessary or helpful — and posts like this just make you feel like shit for taking them🖕

060

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

can we save the emergency alerts for earthquakes and nukes, please?!

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 01/08/2026

Had about 24 hours (ish!) to reflect on it now. Best Spider-Man film; Tom Holland really nails it! Not relying on his traditional villains and Marvel-world-ending stakes made this a far more engaging film.

give him the emmy right now

010

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

please just leave us alone 😭 - this SSRI dependent boy can’t handle any more

braved Heartstopper Forever last night. Overall very good, but rushed, especially for the supporting cast - which was expected given it should have been a full series. Also a couple of the supporting cast were clearly done with the show and phoning it in.

went to the gym for the first time in months today after a physical and mental health breakdown period. I’m so unfit now - honestly nearly died

"I see where you're coming from: heart attacks really ARE an emergency. And you know what? That's on me. Let me know if you'd like me to give you the emergency services number, just whenever you're ready, and we'll take it from there."

I’m in urgent care, praying I don’t get seen by what seems to be the angriest doctor in the world. Just asked a woman on crutches to ‘hurry up’.

Honestly, one of the first hints that things were going downhill was post-bi-regeneration, when Donna asked if the Doctor 'comes in a range of colours.'

In hindsight, it was absolutely insane for RTD to go on the radio and hype up "a press release is coming soon!" knowing full well the news was that the show just simply won't exist for the next few years and that he'd completely given up

I do genuinley think we're heading into reboot territory next 🎬

070

Tom @sidewaysduck.bsky.social · 10/06/2026

I genuinely think a rest is a good thing - the show needs it to survive and come back, but it's been handled in such a damaging and ungracious way, built on lies and misdirection (and a panic-ending to the show itself). I don't know how you go forward without some serious backtracking. #DoctorWho

Genuinely heartbreaking to see the show go out this way. If it is now to go on a 'hiatus', it deserved a better swansong than what it got.
