I miss when closer friends lived in town, but I didn't see them that often for the same reasons. I miss my friend that passed who I was starting to see more. It has been a really lonely year since my surgery last October. I hope this is just a phase in my life and not like, the rest of it.

Genuinely I feel weird about it bothering me so much. I have been sick for the past two days and at work during an exhaustingly busy weekend service. I would not have been able to make it and I would have felt fomo knowing ahead of time. Had I been able to squeeze in time I would have been anxious

Not invited to a thing you knew nothing about and could not even go to if you wanted to, but seeing a bunch of your friends at- try not to let it ruin your day challenge level- not impossible, but really really hard when you woke up with a migraine to start.

Sometimes I will find art I like for the first time on Instagram and notice my dead friend found and liked it before me. Everytime I play a game on Steam it reminds me he hasn't been online for months, adding time as it continues to go on. I've got nothing profound to say. I miss him terribly.

Perhaps running is not for you. I get that having a pre-made workout structure and a progression ladder is nice though. Cycling and rock wall climbing have been nice alternatives to running for me.

when I was a much younger man I had a habit of trying to convince conspiracy theorists I met of even crazier theories. if they denied the moon landing, I'd try to convince them the moon itself was a hoax, etc. Starting to worry that might have done lasting harm.
