Morning all! A good day was had yesterday cooking down tomatoes for sauce, although it takes ages to skin them all. A very busy day all round, so I’m doing as little as possible today!

Morning Cathy, fellow ORCs. A quiet day yesterday spent resting, reading and listening to the rain (but didn’t get as much as I’d hoped). Must stir myself today, there’s a mound of tomatoes to cook down for sauce. I saw this horse on a recent walk - I think he’s dreaming of a more adventurous life!

Good morning Cathy (good luck at the gym) and ORCs. I had a good night’s sleep too, very happy about that! I need to go out to an appointment this morning, Zoom chat with friend in Norfolk later. I spotted this on my walk back from physio yesterday, which brought me a little moment of joy!

I bought a pair of Vivaia flats (like the photo but in black) which are very comfortable and disguise a problem or two and will serve for photos, but am taking my arch supported granny shoes for when I need them! I don’t know how much walking is involved, so have also bought a pretty walking stick!

Bonjour Clare, ORCs. I’m feeling very stiff, too much exercise yesterday, although I still haven’t made it to the bluebell wood. However, the blossom is exceptional in the village this year - here are just two of the trees I met yesterday! Household chores day today - laundry and food delivery.

Morning all. There’s a faint light in the sky these days at 6:45! I managed to get out for a walk yesterday between torrential downpours - more like April than February. Walking is almost back to normal - my right knee isn’t quite there yet but my left is doing well. I managed 5000 steps!

Morning A-W and ORCs. I managed to get half my Christmas / birthday cards written and sent yesterday (and bought stamps - the horror!) so will be finishing them today and then doing the tree over the weekend. My tiny tree (all of 8” tall) is already up! Have a good weekend, one and all.

Bonjour Chats en France! And ORCs everywhere. Splendid day yesterday, went with OH to nearest National Trust gardens, walked 1.5 miles including small hill, then sat by lake in the sun as he went off to do a further circuit. Prob won’t be able to do very much today but..! Happy weekend, one and all.

Morning CiF, fellow ORCs! A happy day yesterday as with the help of trekking poles I made it to the top of a small local hill in glorious sunshine. It’s been on my goals list for the past year. Today is my final Pilates reformer physio session (at least for now) so I’d better get going. Tea first!

About harnesses - most cats hate them! But can be trained, you have to start really slowly, just putting a harness on, letting them get used to it indoors, then add lead, again, really really slowly. Here’s proof! (Not suggesting you try this with Syd, but just to show it can be done.)
