I got the hottest of takes: I'm not excited about the Zelda remake everyone seems to be raving about. It seems to be literally the same exact game just prettier. Gameplay seems the same, camera seems the same. What is the point? Happy for those who are excited though, I personally just don't get it

Playing some Quest Hunter with my fiancee. Simple little Action-adventure game with a bit of RPG dashed in. Nothing revolutionary, but it's cozy and relaxing

Currently reading Würtz's Batman Through the Years... From its inception, what might have influenced it, Bob Kane and Bill Finger's backgrounds, etc... In short, extremely detailed, precise and suprisingly not boring. A must if you're a fan of Batman!

Currently on Episode 3 and so far, so good. It does dread extremely well, more so than horror, which to be honest I prefer.

As September begins and the days get slightly cooler, with nighttime coming faster and faster, I thought it a good time to start playing one of the goats

Forbidden West Platinum done! This was a long one. While enjoyable overall, some side quests suffer from very poor game design (looking at you Gauntlet Runs). Love the new tribes though. I slightly prefer Zero Dawn, with its shorter, more direct quests and overall approach

Watched F4 First Steps the other day. Was surprised at how good, straight and to the point it was. It surely helps that it stands outside the mainline MCU and isn't hampered by having to do homework on other movies/shows. Real refreshing stuff!

Anyone here remembers Firefall? I played it for like 2 weeks back, after trying out Warframe in 2014, when I wanted to try gaming on my laptop (despite it not being anywhere near good enough to run anything).

Introduce yourself as what almost killed you. I was 19 when I was diagnosed with renal failure. I remember the doctor saying something like: "a few days later and it probably would've been too late" That sentence will forever be ingrained in my mind. I'll be 30 next year around June!

Oh boy, I've been waiting for this: -Deckbuilders and Rogue-Likes (any of them) -Gwent... I absolutely abhor Gwent. Don't like it one bit and the fact it is required for achievements is horrendous -TBC games. I want to demolish my enemies on my time thanks! (And I hate that BG3 is Turn-Based!)

I found Forbidden West on PS4 at a very good discount at my local store. Was afraid it was gonne crash and framedrop on me like Jedi Survivor did, but no! Stable, fluid and stunningly beautiful. I guess it helps when the studio works only on PS hardware

I caught this at my local discount store, despiste telling myself I WON'T feed my backlog even more games. But hey, at 15€ instead of 50€, I'm getting it.

Dungeons of Hinterberg platinum done! This was a refreshing change of pace from what I usually play. If only I could find other games that mix dungeon crawling and social elements (building friendships and such) I know Persona exists but turn-based combat isn't my jam AT ALL

Days Gone Platinum done! Overall, very solid game with amazing zombie mechanics. The pacing is a bit all over the place, but it is saved by Sam Witwer being a hell of a driving force as Deacon St John. At times a badass, at times a kind doofus, I love that character.

One disc, three platinums. Very easy overall, but my god some levels and minigames are frustrating as hell and sufder from bad design. Anyway, 120% on Spyro, 100% on Spyro 2 and 117% on Spyro 3. Here's hoping ToysforBob brings some QoL improvements to A Realm Beyond

Hot take: out of all Mafia games, 3 is my overall favourite. Sure the writing of Mafia Definitive is fantastic, and no one can hold a candle to my boy Vito, but 3 has a certain thing to it: the setting, the deep south, the 60's music, slowly overtaking a city. It's good shit man!
