My kiddo got to the ending of bugsnax and has been crying during bedtime because he doesn't want the game to end

Doing astrobot bosses with a 3 year old sets it to hardmode. You thought you had 3 lives? Nope, those lives are for falling off the platform when he takes his turn

Watching people guard their egg covered patches of eggs at public park gave me second hand anxiety as they had to shoo random kids away.

My kid got sent home from daycare today so we decorated our Christmas tree together. Didn't expect to enjoy it this much as it always felt like a chore when I was a kid. Now I have pretty lights to stare at as I enjoy the time after bedtime.

My kid kept saying "picky-axe" instead of pickaxe. So I tried to teach him how to pronounce it. It backfired and now he says "picky ass"

My toddler successfully negotiated 3 chocolates for 7 am tomorrow. I wish I was as good as he is at striking deals.

Turns out always wearing Kirby shirts will make your child adore the character enough to beg you to play Kirby games while he cheers your own and takes credit for all the victories.

oh, ok. That might be the longest line for a book I've seen. I hope everyone is doing ok.

Can someone tell me if Kobo book subscription is worth it? I usually get ebooks from my local library but can take a while waiting for holds

Commissioned fan art of Super Smash Brother's Ultimate characters Bowser and Kirby. Bowser is blowing fire from his mouth, engulfing everything in flames. Kirby is sucking up a whirlwind of burning food such as sushi and mango boba into his mouth. Drawn by Andrea Nagai.

A commissioned portrait in comic book style of a woman public defender in a green suit holding a planner. She stands outside Compton City Civic Center with the Marathon Luther King, Jr. Memorial behind her. The words above and behind her head read "Public Defender in Action". Drawn by Andrea Nagai.

Fan art of Storm from Marvel's X-MEN comic series, clad in an outfit of black and glittering gold sequins, grasping a lightning bolt in her fist above her head. Drawn by Andrea Nagai.

A screen shot from the video game Cook Serve Forever, showing a close up of young Nori Kaga's face resting in her hands as she lay on her stomach on her bed, her slippered feet waving behind her head in delight. Her eyes sparkle with infatuation. Drawn and animated by Andrea Nagai.

My ADHD meds have been working a little too well lately. Now that they wore off, I am trying to remember why I decided to sew my own journal cover.

I hope there will be a bookmarking solution because it is very frustrating to open reply section just to see a bunch of 📌 instead of people asking questions/elaborating on techniques

Started setting up a starter pack for technical and vfx artists here! It's not conclusive yet, I'll update it as I go, but it should be a great start to find some awesome artists ✨ go.bsky.app/Bih7pqu
