I think in the most generous terms, it’s a “victory” in the sense that the hegemons don’t want us having a voice of our own, spreading ideas, building community around them, etc., and are devoting a great deal of resources to making that more difficult at scale. I think for better or for worse I’m doing parts budget spreadsheets and sending out reminders about the simulator having the new firmware update and it being mandatory to log 5+ hours before your next sortee. Miles have you tried these shits yet? They’re obviously a little weird, a bit too tomato-y like they’re a reformulation of a pizza type flavor, but the important component spices are mostly detectably there and they do have a pleasant mild lingering heat. A 3/5-ish novelty flavor to me.

Pac had the most beautiful finisher in wrestling, and for a long time he had a look & vibe I would describe as "underwear goblin." It’s old retired people who watch TV all day in predominantly-white towns. I was originally raised in such a place and they’ve all been complaining about this kind of thing since the 90s.
