My 50c: - release your games multi-platform (desktop, mobile, console). case in point: Steam makes up for "only" ~20% of Hidden Folks' multi-million dollar revenue. - don't compete. lots of ways you don't have to compete, like finding a niche, having fans, rely less on store promo, etc.

Here's a sneak peek of an iOS app we're making with Godot, made entirely on Linux! It's a tiny pixel art app for iPhone and iPad. Illustrations are limited to a 64x64 canvas and palette-indexed. The art is then rendered with a 16xbrz shader. It works best on an iPad with Apple Pencil. #godot #ios
