Car is having troubles again. I don't know the details, won't ask mum because she is stressed enough as it is, but it isn't sounding good. From what it sounds like...the rear breaks don't work.

Use reference. I’m serious. I get it that somehow you or someone convinced you that using reference is “cheating.” It’s not. You are just hindering yourself.

The first global release was such a daunting one. It was such an exciting time to have the first 3D Pokémon game I still remember when it was revealed in Jan 2013, my computer died 40 minutes before the Direct. I had no backup means to update Serebii. That was fun

Bethany wore a “Protect The Dolls” t-shirt during rehearsals. The BBC posted it on their socials then quietly deleted and reposted it without showing her from the front. On TV last night they actually blurred the message #Strictly

boycott it so your trans friends don’t get a sick feeling in their stomach when they come over to your house for a party & see a stack of HP merch on your bookshelf, politely excuse themselves a bit early without saying anything, and then go home feeling just a little degraded

Ice and Fire, from Ecco the Dolphin, Defender of the Future. I mean, Ecco, itself, got extensively scarier the more my sibling played it. But this one DAMN boss. I couldn't sleep without a light on for YEARS after seeing it. This photo doesn't do him justice.

Some others: The "your control disconnected" pop-up in Pokemon Stadium 2 also scared me. Not sure why. Maybe it was because it would go completely silent. I was scared of the moon from Majora's Mask, but that's a gimme. The Gamecube menu also made me uneasy. I chalk that up to the music.

...Perish Song in Pokemon Stadium 2. No, I'm dead serious. I would become extremely upset and panic whenever a 'mon would use Perish Song. The sound when it is first used, the sound between esch round. The animation. It messed me up each time.

For those who loved Pokopia, this was made by the same people, and might be one of my favorite games on the switch. So, with it on Stream, I'm sure it'd be even better. I just. I love this game. The first game I loved, too.

FurAffinity (a furry focused online art gallery) is looking for funding after refusing to comply with advertiser demands. And oh boy are some of those advertiser demands pretty ridiculous. (alt text added)

A post from a FurAffinity developer blog which says:

What makes this situation frustrating is that the bar for what advertisers consider "adult content" is very very low. For example they consider plus size characters, two characters hugging, and "barbie doll nudity" to be adult content, despite these being normal everyday things that are not adult at all. This is why you may see other sites with restrictions on how characters cant be posed or dressed "too provocatively."

We receive a daily list of items that they have flagged as violations and have to sort through them. If they're legitimate violations, we re-rate them. If they aren't, we don't touch them. Submissions that are not violations of our policies are still held against us.

We have had many email conversations, Zoom calls, and even an in-person meeting with representatives to help resolve this to no avail.

Especially when those spaces are holding the line on censorship. FA is not perfect, and it likely never will be, but i believe they run the site with good intentions for the community, generally speaking.

In regard to FurAffinity being at risk due to censorship: Furries are now political targets. We are getting namedropped at high levels of government. They know that we are a large, influential, largely queer, community. Fighting for the spaces owned by our community is incredibly important
