OBS is getting a plugin manager which will make creating interactive effects so much easier. You will still need to do a bit of setup, but having plug-ins immediately searchable in OBS will make it so much easier to get people set up.

More updates to a platformer game controlled by Twitch Chat. Platforms spawn per chat message, letting you climb to higher levels. Each level has a different chat challenge, ex. messages must be emotes only. Curious if other streamers want to try this with their community

I've been working on a game in Godot that turns Twitch Chat into a 2D platformer. Each chat message becomes a moving platform and the player has to climb them to reach the top. Each level forces chat to type certain messages, like emote-only messages.

In the new StarCraft trailer, the gun jams with a software error/mechanical error. In older cutscenes show them running out of ammo. Are Terran guns more unreliable in the future? Did their military software get worse? Is this enshittification in the Terran Dominion?

I recently made one of my favorite youtube thumbnails without Photoshop or other graphic editing software. All the drawing/sketch effects were done completely in OBS with diff masking plugins and shaders. OBS is for photo editing now.

I can throw darts at my Twitch Chat to pin them on the screen. I gave my chat the ability to do a backflip, and I can throw a dart when they're mid-air, to pin them against the wall. Pinned chatters get text-to-speech as a prize.

W's in the chat actually came from Japanese livestreaming culture. Japanese chatters would spam "wwwwww" to indicate they are laughing. Why? Because in Japanese culture: if you're laughing, you're winning.

I made a stream overlay that shows viewers leaving the stream when they get bored. If a viewer becomes an inactive chatter, they literally walk off screen. This may be the most demoralizing stream overlay I've ever created.

Instead of a banhammer, I gave my Twitch mods a lightning bolt spell that zaps banned viewers off the screen. It's a small screen pets app made with Godot, that unlocks new forms of chat punishment.

I've been learning Godot for interactive stream overlays! I made an overlay where chat can walk around on stream. But sometimes it gets crowded, so viewers can use channel points to purge chatters with magic spells.
