Sometimes I completely forget about taxis as an option and wondering if that is ever a good car share alternative for you? (like in theory taxi use should enable a lot of the same kind of things that carshare does, at least in cities)

Interesting, because carshare is about the only kind of car that I don't have weird feelings about. EV? meh. AV? FOH. but Car share has so much potential to get cars off the road and reduce vehicle Miles traveled and, as folks at the rally have pointed out, enable people using other modes.

I can't drive, so I actually don't know the landscape for carshare here. I thought Zipcar left the market a while ago, ergo my post, but maybe it's back? A neighbor of mine looked into carshare a while ago for the building and couldn't find anything that would work.

Council Member Soren Stevenson: Car share is important even if you're not a user, bc when people don't have access to transportation options, they will buy a car. Do you want 5,000 more cars on the road, in your way? Losing car share would have real impact across metro.

Is there any way to turn off the dictation feature that automatically capitalizes nouns that are also brands, like Transit? It’s super fucking annoying. The Apple support website isn’t readily helping.
