Games need to be built differently. If every game lives or dies by its day-one, there is no future, period -- live games demand new production plans, and your first year needs runway/planning. The amount of people I know who have been laid off from games industry jobs and are deciding to leave games entirely as a result is not only extremely saddening (of course), but also genuinely scary. We have lost legitimately thousands of years of knowledge and experience in the last four years.

Finished reading the Mistborn trilogy! If you're looking for a push to read it, the trilogy is an absolute blast, from rollercoaster storytelling, awesome world building, and an explanation of a really interesting set of magic rules. stoked to get more into the Cosmere!

Started playing Halo:Infinite coop recently with a friend and we're really enjoying it! combat has been fun, really like how it gets you trying all the different weapons, story has been enjoyable, music is epic, and the grappling hook is just a blast.
