i really want to dig into the themes of millsage more. it's a story about grief, obviously, but i think there's also a lot you could glean from looking at it as a story about lies--the lies people tell others, and the lies people tell themselves.

I like to think Taki initially has a crush on Tomori cause she finds her cute and wants to protect her, but one day she sees Tomori covered in sweat running her hand through her head, looking cool and serious, and it does massive damage to Taki’s heart

every time i see a post/headline that ascribes some sort of personhood/agency to Chat GPT or whatever the fuck else people are using, that says the chatbots themselves are "hallucinating" or "decieving users" or "forgetting guardrails", it makes me want to punch a hole through my wall.

uh oh! your favourite characters are stuck in an rather average gacha game, and you need to help them escape! quick, think about what they'd say and do if they were in your shoes, change your pfp to them, talk like them, talk with them in your head, and let them take the wheel! it's the only way

I don't have much experience with rhythm games, but when I noticed that the Expert-level chart of Noroshi was representing Raana's backing vocals with a hold note and Tomori's vocals with regular notes, I became so emotional that I immediately lost all of my hitpoints and failed.

lrp it's so nice to have a story where mental illness and stuff *can* exacerbate pre-existing conflicts, but the solution isn't to be shamed or "cured", but instead to, if you'll excuse the pun, band together. and that doesn't "fix" them but it makes their lives liveable
