40% sounds amazing tbh. I wish I was still renting!
As a shared owner, my housing costs are now 70% of my take-home pay.
I can’t sell, and I’m told my only way “out” is to become a landlord. I clearly can’t afford that.
Please push for shared ownership buybacks and conversion to social rent.
