Because the national CETA initiative was decentralized and locally managed, tracing its presence and impact is a challenge. Few programs had the funding and prescience to include a Documentation Unit, but CFdid. Comprising three photographers, three writers, and an archivist, the group not only captured the community-based work taken up by CF artists, but recorded the stories of the individuals and artistic practices that were fostered by CETA Title VI funds. These records were compiled and donated to the New York City Municipal Archives shortly after the program ended, and are now publicly available in a single repository."

I just received the latest COVID booster. Getting the jab makes me reflect back on my life-changing infection with the original form of the virus in April 2020, how that permanently degraded my health and stamina, and all of the personal and professional consequences that have flowed from that.

I voted for Sanders twice in primaries. I did so fully aware that the vast majority of my Black family and friends did not trust him. I thought that he was the better choice compared to others in the Dem primaries on policy grounds. There's no way to defend him on this Bannon gambit. It's disgusting

Few things are nearer to my heart than the Federal Writers Project, not least because it went beyond just giving writers a paycheck (though we need it). More fundamentally, it demonstrated the whole value of the pluralistic multicultural project not least by building beautiful things.
