I think this was a case of a friendly neighborhood woodland creature trying to get warm. It was actually UNDER the delivery box but I scooped it inside the box to take it out to the woods.

The MtG Fractured Reality prerelease last night was awesome. I went 2-1-0 because my final matchup was too tired to play so I took a tie and played a friend. My deck turned early drops into 4/4 trample bests and tried to out-value my opponents.

No one is *forcing* anyone to do a shitload of recomps. Recomps are great, but the whole point of them isn't to just have an assembly line to pump out poor quality ones just to have them; it's a way to preserve older games, understand them better, and make them more accessible to new audiences.

First attempt. Made it to stage 4 but stupidly lost most my lives on the stage 2 boss running into its lasers. It's so much better than the demo I played in January (party because I prefer my own sticks).

Same except I did the WoW thing on release because I was an old EverQuest junkie. Minecraft only clicked for me recently when I set up a server for my kid and her cousins to play and then joined in on the fun.

This is much closer to having a Viewlix, and I'd argue it's superior to a Viewlix since you can use a nicer monitor (and rotate). I'm not running a 4K monitor in this set-up right now because I stole it for my primary monitor but this 1440p monitor feels just as good for retro to me.

There's a MiSTer and a RT4K on this setup, both on the side compartments. IMO, a real candy cab with a CRT can never truly be replicated but that doesn't make this any less cool. You can't easily rotate the monitor in an Astro City like you can on this set-up either.
