I was buying frames when I went on and on about how this dark patch on the frame would draw my eyes every time I looked in the mirror and that'd be all I saw... I could feel the salesman's frustration. Finally said, "You couldn't tell I'm on the spectrum, huh?" He was shocked, then laughed out loud.

Sheesh!!! Twice today on the freeway, I got passed by a car goinng at least 10 mpg faster than traffic and weaving their way through. I hit my brakes on one of them because I wasn’t expecting anything in my rear view mirror and suddenly a car was there and heading for me. Fricking dangerous!

An exercise I do when I face this type of question is, what word/phrase would I have chosen? "Stay-at-home Mom"? "Trad-wife"? (Okay I know this wouldn't have been used) "She chose her child over her career at a time when their child needed her most"? Hugs. Anger's good. It helps cleanse the soul.
