I grew up in Singapore, so all the Chinese movies were dubbed into Mandarin. When I came to the US, I realized HK movies used Cantonese and that so much was lost in the translation. Now, I miss Cantonese in movies so much because the HK market has gone a bit downhill plus no Brigitte Lin!
