I get about 4hrs of sleep a day, not even all in a row, but there are at least 3-4hrs in the morning when I! Could! Sleep! I get off work, eat, shower, etc, and B stays asleep for a while and I could sleep too, but it just won't happen. And then I finally feel tired around the time he wakes up 🙃

I started looking for a replacement so I can figure out the money, but then I remembered why we got this one. The brackets have to be able to rotate because that's the only way we can mount it, and the opening has to be able to go at one end and not be stuck in the center. And this was the only one.

The baby gate we have on the hallway is easy and I can open it one-handed. Unfortunately we needed a different one for the kitchen, and it's a multi-step process and takes two hands to open and close. So now I'm out $80 and have a gate I have to replace but can't return because M threw out the box.

His disappeared the day he had his lip and tongue surgery, so I just kind of assumed he had to get used to his mouth being different and then they'd come back. But that was almost two months ago and I was starting to get worried.

I've been trying to teach B to say "uh-oh," by dropping something over and over and saying "uh-oh" every time. He has not said it, but he is saying "again," again, so a win is a win. I just want him to get back the words he already had and learn a few new ones.

B is making a little progress talking. Still mostly babbling, but the babbles are starting to mean things. "Ma ma ma ma" when he's in his high chair means "more more more." "Na na na na na" pretty much always means "night night." But my favorite thing is I say "I love you" and he says "too." 😅
