When I said I had a stack of horror games to play this month, I mean this. 42 physical games! This isn't even counting what digital stuff I have. Not spoiling what's in this stack, but I will say no Resident Evil games are in there. I'll do a marathon of all those at some point 😅

2 stacks of games of various consoles sitting on my bed. 42 games in total

I know no one cares about this, but I've gone back to Diablo 2 Resurrected these last couple of days and I finally got some weapon/armor I need for my endgame build. I just need the runes for it and I'm golden. Looking for these has taken so long, so I'm pretty hyped about it 😲

Good morning! I have to do double duty at work on Truth and Reconciliation Day. 😒 I'm not taking a lunch today and sneaking out 30 mins early. I need to start planning what horror games to tackle starting tomorrow for the month of terror 🦇 Have a wonderful end of September!

Good morning! I woke up at 3:15am this morning cause I went to bed at 9. 🥱 I'm rushing off to work, where it sounds like I have extra stuff to do 🫠 Later today, I hope to test stream with my new retro overlay. Haven't decided what game, but I have the PS2 all hooked up Have a wonderful day~

I just realized that I've been quiet today. All I've done is fail at sleeping, drink coffee, and play Diablo 2 Resurrected Some would say that I did nothing all day, but I killed hordes of Hell's army in a caffeinated state while listening to a voice in my head telling me about Crash Bandicoot mods

Game #24/ Platinum #175: Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound I had a fun and difficult time with this. Started kind of easy, but as the game goes on, it throws some hands at you. The platforming tech is pretty neat, and pulling off a nice Guillotine Boost combo to get around is pretty great.

Done my work shift, and visited my mom and petted the cat. She so skinny now and doesn't react much. We're sure she won't last a week since she's barely eating. I comforted my mom, and talked about what to do.

Good morning I accepted a 4 hour shift this morning to help an older coworker that'd be by herself. After work, I plan to go to my mother's and pet the cancer kitty a bit. I made the mistake of watching the Kingdom Hearts openings and now I want to play them again 😩 Have a great Sunday!

Probably last update on this. The x-ray showed that the cancer spread to her lungs and probably elsewhere so she's definitely near the end of her life.

My mom and sister stopped into work to tell me her cat is getting x-rays nearby. Unfortunately, it looks like her cancer is getting worse. Sounds like we may have to put her down soon. 😢

What I learned from this post is that people still love this little handheld, and that even if you think that only you enjoy playing on a certain thing, there are probably at least a handful of others that do too.

Jennifer Hale once told me Canadians need to champion ourselves more. I wholeheartedly agree. Over the past few months, I reached out to dozens of Canadian devs to learn their favourite Canadian games. Their varied responses offer a wonderful spotlight on some of the incredible talent we have here.🍁

As Canadians, we don't champion ourselves enough, so we asked dozens of game developers to do just that.
