A villain au would go so hard with these two... A monster never shown kindness and a man who lost everything both teaming up to take down the government that helped strip their lives away. They're too kind in canon... #oc #ocart #ocsky #originalcharacter

Some sights on the beach just this Thursday! Had all sorts of critters, and it was finally nice to have a class time that wasn’t eleven at night!! 🦑

0111

Shad @shadgeek.bsky.social · 04/04/2025

Got what seems to be a larval gunnel fish? Not actually quite sure! It was mistaken for a worm on the beach and brought back to the aquaria, and now it’s just hanging out with all the invertebrates! 🦑

Shad @shadgeek.bsky.social · 18/03/2025

I missed drawing Averian... he needs to stop being sad (as if he's not saying goodbye to one of his only friends... if he smiled during it...) #oc #ocart #ocsky

What a lovely night!! The clouds held off just long enough for us to look at the blood moon. Was beautiful

Shad @shadgeek.bsky.social · 08/03/2025

New character!! Aelita, the Moon deity of Elderwood. A deceased god who's now replaced by a fraud, a fake. Now their remnants are struck with grief and betrayal, targeting anyone who harbors their gift. #oc #ocsky #originalcharacter #regisinteritusmundi

It’s that time of the year for Onchidoris bilamellata to start laying their eggs, which are the squiggly and squishy white things next to some of these guys. It’s such a treat seeing these guys!! And to only think I saw my first one in my twenty-two years of being on this beach just last week 🦑

050

Shad @shadgeek.bsky.social · 04/03/2025

It’s time for a tunicate takeover!! Was exploring the beach today and came across a colorful array of these colonial critters. I’m not that confident on IDs for these, so if anyone has good ones, I’m all ears!! Going to be posting some Onchidoris bilamellata next!! 🦑

Shad @shadgeek.bsky.social · 03/03/2025

Back at it with some more oyster red worms, or Mytilicola orientalis. We’re hoping to hatch the eggs on the three females for SEM imaging of their life stages. All of these were taken from soft shelled clams, or Mya arenaria. Gonna post more when we have some hatched 🦑

Averian's secret of being a Fate Changer has been exposed and his school career is over. But he's not safe in such a hostile world. His professor, Occellus, takes him away to bring him to a safer place. #oc #ocsky #digitalart #originalcharacter #regisinteritusmundi

Here are some nice mushrooms

A string of tiny splitgill mushrooms grow like pearls on the side of an upturned stick in a bare winter forest
