C'est pas gauche ou droite qui va se jouer au second tour. C'est démocratie ou fascisme. Quel que soit le camp concerné, n'importe quel candidat qui n'intègre pas cette donnée est soit un somnambule, soit un imbécile irresponsable.

And now the longest part of the grind starts. Let's see if I can make it to the end!

Is it wrong to level a job just because you find it looks cool? I think NOT 😝 On a side note, after an almost 2 years hiatus, I had intended to only dip a toe in FFXIV, catching up on MSQ to be ready for Evercold. But the game grabbed my leg and swallowed me whole 🤷

Spoilers for FFXIV Endwalker ! . . . I love and hate that these comments on this video are technically true 🤣🤣🤣 m.youtube.com/watch?v=ZlAb...

On a side note, I'll always marvel at the master teacher's ability to inflict excruciating pain that evaporates within 5 minutes, leaving no physical damage. (And yes, I have been at the receiving end of it) 🤯

🥋 Asking newcomers to imagine their wooden katana is the real thing sometimes leads to fun conversations. "But I will cut myself if I hold it that way (at rest)!" "No you won't. When not in use, your sword is kept in a scabbard..." "The scabbard, right..." (Actual convo from last seminar) 🤣

Aaaaand done ! Also reverted my decision to move to the Switch 2: the graphical update is too good to pass (currently a PS5 player)!

The cheetah is the world's fastest land animal, capable of reaching 120 kph – but it hasn't been able to outrun the human threats pushing it towards extinction. Fewer than 7,000 remain in Africa. When a cheetah named Milele was found with an injured leg, our SWT/KWS Mara Vet Unit answered.

7.4 and 7.5 finished ! The last trial was fun but exhausting as a healer 😅 Onto 7.56, and I'll be Evercold-ready. I really need a TL;DR ("too long (ago); don't remember"), because it was difficult to recall the finer points of the MSQ so far 😅

Done with 7.1 and 7.2. Died 4 times during the mandatory trial, and got 2 commendations despite that. Guess I should have died more 😂 All those NPCs telling me to take a rest are starting to make me nervous though...

Not my fingers automatically launching a supercharged heal after a big AoE hit... when my brain was still trying to remember which skill did what 🤣 Very thankful for muscle memory, resuming FFXIV would have been way harder otherwise 😅 Also, what kind of rabbit is that!?

Okay so @defector.com has had an odd glitch since the site redesign a couple of weeks back where the wrong photo and headline are often put together on the main page and I was going to ask them about fixing it but this just happened and as far as I'm concerned they have to leave it as is.

Screenshot for a Defector podcast episode with the headline "Consider the Emotional Lives of Scallops" only the accompanying photo is a white gormless stubbled red-headed UK singer of recent notoriety giving a flat smile to the camera while wearing a washed out peach top as beige as he is against a flat background. So, actually, probably a scallop anyway.

Koji Fox continued: "You need to be what AI cannot. What can AI do? AI is fast. What can't it do? Gain context, understand what is natural, understand the game, and bring humanity to the translation. That's what you need to do."

Koji Fox: "To be serious with you, it's only going to get harder to get into localization as a profession. A lot of companies are going to start, if they haven't already started, looking to AI to handle translation—which is frickin' sad. It's going to start limiting opportunities."

🥋 So, I dreamt that our teacher was running late on a day where many people came for a trial lesson, so I started teaching the course. Two minutes in, everyone left. ... ... Fortunately, I woke up before defeat set in. What was my brain trying to tell me? 🤣

September is the start of the school year here, so yesterday was the sports/hobbies clubs fair in most towns. I spent all day selling aikido to bypassers, collecting free trial registrations, and being chatty in general. As an extremely introverted person, it was really exhausting. Glad it's over!

Screenshot of a post from account "Aikido School Ando", depicting an aikido practitioner throwing another one on the floor, in the middle of a field of wild grasses.

The caption says:
"Aikido isn't about violence, it's the graceful art of letting someone experience gravity."

"Aikido the art of hitting someone with the planet"

Finished! I must be missing a few manuscripts, and I also didn't finish the challenges, but no matter. It was fun and very satisfying, and I would definitely check a sequel if it ever happens!

Unlocked bronze and silver endings. Bronze was extremely frustrating, which I suspect was on purpose. Silver is much better, but still leaves things in the air... Working towards full completion before I tackle the gold ending 💛

Currently having way too much fun with Elliot: The Millenium Tales, althought I am awfully terribad with action games, especially when it comes to jumping puzzles... ... but the devs obviously catered to me with the fluterer's cape and the falling-damage nullifying amulet 🤣

Screenshot of a huge, colorful lotus flower from the game. It is actually one of the dungeons.
