🌸The ladies and Mog of Final Fantasy VI 🌸 🖌️: acrylic gouache+gouache on 300gsm watercolour paper I think this might be my favourite piece yet 💚💛❤️ ⟡ #finalfantasy ⟡ #FF6 ⟡ #art
Acrylic Gouache+gouache painting of the main female cast of Final Fantasy VI along with Mog
they're all floating to a black background with details of flower petals, white dots and opal-colored sprayed dots.

On top is Terra, a pretty young lady with green wavy hair, wearing her red dress with flower patterns, pink pastel stockings with flower patterns, pastel purple cloak and red boots with golden decals. She is sitting comfortably, and Mog is next to her.

Celes is sitting on the right side, wearing her Amano inspired outfit with a purple tank-top, yellow west and trousers and white boots with decals on it. She has long blonde hair, and wearing a fancy hair ornament.

To her right and in-front of Terra is Relm, a child with blond curly hair and a big smile. She is wearing a big red beret with pattern, a yellow cloak connected to her necklace, a black tank-top, red puffy trousers with star pattern and red boots. She is holding a big painting brush with her left hand.

Hey folks, I had a big thread about AI and art that really popped off, and now I have some attention, so why don't I make a little thread of upcoming indie games I'm looking forward to that have neat artstyles? And a lot of these games will have demos to check out, so maybe give them a try?

Well Dweller is such a beautiful game There's clear inspiration from Hollow Knight, some Celeste in there, I think a bit of Little Nightmares, and it's got such a wonderful creepy/cute vibe to it, real creepy children's fairytale kinda thing going. I'd nearly immediately recommend it.

An excerpt from my new zine Hollow: Ten Tales of Fallen Knights. As much as we’d like to be gentle and kind, the truth is that some dragons really need to die. ⚔️🌟 #fantasy #writersky
This illustration of a proud and majestic lady knight was created by @ WhiteCatArts (here on Bluesky, and also on Twitter and Tumblr), a master of dark fantasy who illustrates the uncanny beauty of horror. The text reads: If the queen desires power, so be it. This is simply what queens do. There are complications in this world, but none so tangled that they cannot be cut by a blade swift and sharp.

Strange Cases, the brilliant debut graphic novel of @riotbones.bsky.social, is thrilling supernatural mystery. It's like Ace Attorney meets Bloodborne, and it's also a gorgeous meditation on the gothic shadows of colonial occupation. My review on Comics Beat: www.comicsbeat.com/graphic-nove...
One of the closing illustration pages of Strange Cases, the debut graphic novel from the popular illustrator Riotbones. The story's protagonist, a young law student in a formal fin de siècle three-piece suit, holds the symbolic scales of justice as a grand Victorian cityscape burns at his back. The overlaid text reads:

But churches are burning and saints are crumbling, reborn in altars of barricades where the people rise instead of sink. As the tide swells, the world will shift: a slow but inevitable, merciless dawn that will consume the long, dark night.

Decided to colour my first DE drawing cause I needed to wind down. (Insp: Miami Disco - Pertubator) #discoelysium #kimkitsuragi #harrydubois
Artwork depicting the characters "Kim Kitsuragi" and "Harry du Bois" from the video game "Disco Elysium". The artwork is drawn in a style bearing resemblance to that of the game, but with a more anime'esque twist and dramatic perspective.
In the drawing, Kim wears a serious expression while raising his gun. He seems to be about to take action. Meanwhile his partner Harry leans backwards, wearing a wide grin and having his right hand raised in a finger-gun fashion, mimicking a readied firearm.
The artwork is overlayed with a VHS-like distortion and filter, and accented by pink and cyan hues, as well as chromatic aberration.

I'm putting together a slideshow about postapocalyptic video games, and once again I find myself getting emotional about Breath of the Wild. Damn what a beautiful game
A PowerPoint slide with a screenshot from Breath of the Wild showing a Decayed Guardian robot enemy peacefully going to seed in the flooded ruins of a stone building. The overlaid text reads: In Breath of the Wild, the imperial kingdom has fallen, and its war machines are covered in moss. Though this collapse is not without tragedy, the game optimistically presents its green world as an opportunity to reflect on the mistakes of the past and build a better future.
