Great tit & Goldfinch - gouache and charcoal on canvas. Recently I asked my followers if they could send me their photos of dead birds, to add to my own collection, to paint. This is the first in the series! I finally have my website up and running and have posted this for sale on there.

I started making rasam (did not make my own spice blend) but it's cowing lush. When I say "started", I ended up adding lots of veggies and angel hair pasta to it, so it's somewhere between Moroccan harira and Indian rasam. Toor dal is such a good legume ✨️

Spending far too long trying to translate "dasgubell rodd" in Barddas only to find out Iolo either made a spelling mistake or used a local vernacular spelling of "dysgubell", and _then_ realising the book gave a translation in the footnotes anyway. SIGH.

One of my current favourite things to say in The Shop (context, there are therapy rooms for hire upstairs) : Me: "Hi! Anything I can help you with?" Them: "Ah, yeah, I'm here to see a physio? The address led me in here..." Me, cracking my fingers: "Well, it's been a while, but I'll give it a go!"

I spoke yesterday at the Peace Centre Lahore's 2026 Leadership and Excellence Award Ceremony at the Guild Hall, Swansea with other faith leaders. The evening was spent catching up with old friends and discussions on magic and dragons. Good larks! 📷s by Jim Fox

I danced on the last day of the All-Wales* Morris weekend, at Sain Ffagan. Cardiff Morris, Clerical Error, and Carreg Las - Sweyn's Ey were there on the Saturday in Caerdydd. Such good larks! Feet are in agony, but this is just the new normal now.

We should be lowering the age of official retirement and introducing #UBI so that it doesn't really matter when someone becomes officially retired, semi retired or not. The key is ending poverty so that people have choices and Gvt can manage resources on behalf of the people more fairly.
