Somewhat more detailed view of #TheCompendium. Artistically, it's very pleasing (these here are the inhabitants of the Grey Fortress). The text is for the most part, but some pages that would've been hard to read were replaced with printed text. Dozens of pages of useful random tables. /1

Also I am liking the Color Out of Space as well. It is my favorite of his shorter works. Of his longer works like novels, I am of belief that The Case of Charles Dexter Ward is one of the finest novels written.

To be answering my own question, my groups has just been ended a 2 year campaign in S&W, and with several members moving away, we will not be starting new. However, I am being invited to GM in the spring for some friends children to be introducing them to D&D, which I find to be an honor.

On hindsight of many years, I am believing 4th edition taught me more about combant and minions and skirmishers, etc, which now I would not be enjoying 3rd or 3.5 edition because of its having so many overcomplicated and of too many extra rules. Edition 3 is receiving of my vote for least favorite

Being in the moment, as it came out, 4th edition was terrible. Our group only played one session of it before moving backwards into 3.5. Later on, I was played in a short 4th edition campaign, which was turning out to be successful and fun.

Leprous is being my favorite band of the last ten years. Their older stuff is of heavy metal, and their newer stuff is less heavy, but it is all being very nice. The first song I am heard was "From the Flame," in which it has some of their older heavy style and newer melodic style all in one song.
