The Jesus that I personally encountered -- and he was right where I expected, on the 3rd baseline, box seats, garbed in a Gunnar jersey, sipping a Natty -- looked like a Jewish rabbinical student, bookish, but with a keen grasp of how the infield-fly rule is necessary to bind together the universe.

Tokyo #Swallows umbrella dance in the 7th inning. During the 1980s, the Swallows were consistently one of the worst teams in NPB, so fans would bring umbrellas and open them to make it seem like there were more people there on TV, and the tradition grew from there.
