Pulling drivers over in tunnel, FFS. It’s one of those examples of American idiocy that make me wonder how these clowns ever managed to put a man on the moon. When I lived in US in the ‘90s I had this same thought quite often.

First day with EV, took a drive to Harbor town. Very comfortable drive in KIA EV3 Earth model. We played with all the things and recharged phones to see how it goes. Very quick USB-C charge ports. Is it just me, so over new car smell…

One reason Republicans are so brazen about stealing elections is they know that Democrats will let them. Won't challenge a stolen election, like when Bush stole from Gore. Won't punish an insurrectionist, like Jan 6th. Democrats are very confused over their role as the "good guys".

Geeze, you guys got a 2nd amendment to your constitution for the sole purpose of enacting violence against a government you no longer want. So far, ordinary Americans have twice removed obnoxious governments with violence. Outsider's view of USA is that number three is about to kick off any day.

Anyone know where I can get a 30-pin to lightening IPhone adapter cable? Living in a radio dead spot on Gold Coast. There is only one station we can kind of receive. It seems a serious brain injury is essential to get an on-air job there. The banal chatter does make me get up, to turn it off ASAP!

Just in my lifetime I recall Regan, Bush and now Trump have dymensia in office, covered up until their term ends. In each case we’ll learn the dymensia is quite advanced only days after leaving office.

House prices falling after neg gearing reform just proves how much house prices were inflated by neg gearing. Seem to recall it was that little turd Howard that started the housing crisis. Like everything that twerp touched, turned to shit. Typical LNP performance, hurt ordinary Australians.

Pretty incompetent CEO that can’t make a profit from $642 million income. Kogan should step down in shame and let someone with skill run the place. A competent CEO should make heaps of profit with sales of that magnitude.

Just got New Edge from Microslop. New appearance is just like the old one, but contrast is lower and it's transparent parts make it quite a bit harder to read. In short, a very typical example of a Microslop "upgrade", slightly more shit in many subtle ways.

We can safely say the amount of new fossil fuel and extended leases they at least cancelled out any abatement via renewables. The extra climate harm Labor & @albomp.bsky.social have done is far from “minimum possible”.

the concept of a "charcuterie board" is often deeply misunderstood. to help clear up this situation, i've created this educational diagram. i hope it helps
title: charcuterie board alignment chart

table columns:
• Item Purist: the board must contain cold meats, with a small amount of accompaniments
• Item Neutral: the board must contain food
• Item Rebel: the board can contain anything

table rows and content:
• Board Purist: the items must be skilfully arranged on a board or slab — item purist: a charcuterie board; item neutral: a sandwich platter; item rebel: a model railway
• Board Neutral: the items must be individually selectable — item purist: a hotel breakfast; item neutral: a self-service food ordering kiosk; item rebel: toolbars in a web browser
• Board Rebel: the items can be presented in any way — item purist: Subway’s Classic BMT sandwich; item neutral: a bowl of soup; item rebel: a landfill

New coffee machine is exact same model as last one bought more than 6 years ago. Differences are now made in China not Romania. All plastic not a bit of metal on exterior. Instructions were plain English booklet, now indecipherable graphics with QR code to YouTube video. Enshitifiedmaxxing.
Two documents, one a booklet of words and diagrams.
Newer is diagrams with arrows to indicate flow with a QR code to watch a video since the diagrams are incomprehensible.
