Jeremy Corbyn was Labour leader at the time, and he certainly offered voters a “Go Big” vision – but for various reasons he could not persuade the electorate. But today a more mainstream Labour leader is also going to embrace “Go Big”. According to the Labour party’s overnight briefing, Andy Burnham is going to use his first conference speech as leader to set out what he will describe as “a more serious prospectus for Britain than people have been offered in a generation”. 🚨🩺💶 A new patient allegation has emerged concerning the medical practice on Karneadou Street, with a man describing what he says was intense pressure to undergo plasma exchange, or Inuspheresis, at a cost of €6,000 per session.According to his testimony to Live News, he initially visited the practice seeking help with weight loss and was allegedly told that his blood showed signs of “femininity” and that, without the procedure, his sexual preferences could change as he grew older. He says he was subsequently encouraged to undergo three plasma exchange sessions, while also paying €1,500 for vitamins and €500 for each visit.The man claims that he ultimately paid €3,000 but refused to undergo the plasma exchange. He also alleges that he was repeatedly urged to pay in cash and was told that the treatment would address a range of health problems, including pain associated with psoriatic arthritis.The testimony is part of a wider series of allegations concerning the practice and the methods allegedly used to persuade patients to undergo costly treatments.
