Sometimes, as crew, especially after a day of connection, the time away from the plane into the hotel room is jarring. In those times often you want someone to listen, but you're all alone in a dark room (because trying to sleep) with your mind in dark places, keeping you up and awake.

So, I got a PS5 Pro because I had a ton of Good Boy Points from work. Hooked it up tonight. Suddenly my wireless keyboard/mouse set on my PC started stuttering and all of our Philips Hue lights in the apartment kept losing signal. Turned off Wi-Fi on the PS5 Pro and suddenly everything was fine.

For context, I personally prefer drinking with food. Partly because medical condition, partly cultural. I feel like I would enjoy very hoppy IPAs more if there were 'fresh' (i.e. salads or a rich veggie handheld) or 'spicy' snack/food options at breweries.

One of the small things I love about the holidays is new Tupperware.

A wire dish drying basket. Spoons, spatula, and knives are in the utensil basket hanging from the whole basket. A cutting board, plate, a ceramic bowl, a glass bowl, a mortar, and four Cool Whip lids and bottoms are in the main drying basket.

So, this mural has such great intentions... Except that I had to use a colorblind filter on my phone after snapping a photo to actually read it.

While it's probably readable for normal-sighted people, the areas that were in green or red were unreadable to me (i.e. the N in 'can').

I made a "Mango Float" Charlotte for my cousin's birthday today. An accident smushed the original top so the mango rosettes and mint leaves were a plan B. (Pastry: ladyfingers; layers: Graham cracker, whipped condensed milk/cream, diced mangoes; decorations: mint, mango roses, cream Chantilly)

The cake shot from the top. Whipped cream rosettes border the circular top of the cake. Arranged in the center of the cake are three rosettes made of thin mango slices brushed with clear gelatin. Mint leaves are placed around the mango rosettes.

A picture of the cake's side. Due to the original top being smushed, some whipped condensed milk/cream seeped out between the ladyfingers that make the sides of the Charlotte. A gold ribbon is tied around the cake.

After using one (of many in a stack) of blank NFC "Shuttle Access" cards I received from #FurryMigration 2024, a Markdown file I've uploaded on OneDrive with a view-only link, and NFC Tools; my home visitors using iOS/Android devices can connect to my guest Wi-Fi network.
