I really didn’t mind the siege/earthrise Megs, I just hated the parts forming for his tank mode. Adding parts not needed for robot mode just grind my gears. This fixed my problem PERFECTLY. No unnecessary shield or sword accessories to give us an accurate alt mode and perfect robot form

Great film. Great story. Not sure if I’m fond of the execution. I think if the film took place several years after the Last Jedi to let the story be able to breathe between Luke’s Death and Kylo being Supreme Leader I would’ve liked it more. Still a good film! But Last Jedi was the best film

Alden is a great actor and I think he did a fine job with a less mature Han. He played the cocky space pilot really well. We have to remember he wasn’t the hero of the rebellion yet. He was a kid trying to get laid and get money after ditching an oppressive regime

George also recasted Obi-Wan. He recasted the Emperor from Episode 5 to Ian in 6. He recasted Tarkin for Episode 3. He recasted Vader like four times. The precedent is there. Disney is just so afraid to recast Luke Skywalker and I don’t know why. Mark was great, but I know George would’ve if needed

Which is wild cause Alden was so good as Han. Also Ewan and Hayden are technically recasts of Obi-Wan and Anakin and they are beloved. I wish these character were treated like James Bond and Batman. You can recast the character as long as it’s still the character. The face doesn’t matter

The criticism of Disney Star Wars is their over reliance on The Original Trilogy and failure to allow recasts. Corporate Filmmaking fails to see art. They rely to heavily on what already sells/Nostalgia. The Acolyte is the biggest victim of Disney. It was what I wanted but racists took it from me
