Lmfaoooo Google gave me a slideshow titled "This beautiful world" that had a bunch of gorgeous shots from our wedding, a few shots from various states in the US, ones I took in Scotland, etc.... and then there's this in the middle.

Screenshot of a Google Photos slideshow. It's titled "This beautiful world" and is paused on a slide of a photo taken August 1st, 2017.

The photo is of a billboard with the famous woodblock art "The Great Wave off Kanagawa" and reads "Syphilis TSUNAMI freestdcheck.org"

THERE'S A SNAKE COSTUME FOR LIZARDS THIS RULES

Low res stock image of a lizard with a snake costume on. The costume is a silver snake that looks fat like a tsuchinoko that sits atop the lizard, held on with a strap around its belly. The snake is very short compared to the lizard, ending just beyond where the lizard's tail begins, which OP finds to be incredibly funny.

Can't find a post-op recovery onesie for my cats on the websites for the major pet supply stores around here but that's ok because I can buy highland cow costumes for cats, dogs, guinea pigs and lizards!

Low res stock image of a cat and a pug, both are dressed in highland cow costumes. The costumes have hoods that look like the cow's head and furry capes that cinch around the belt with perky cow tails at the ends.

Low res stock image of a guinea pig in a smaller version of the previous photo's costume.

Low res stock image of a lixard in an even smaller version of the previous photo's costume.

Absolutely howling laughter because one of my aunts gave one of my cousin's kids the English to German dictionary another cousin used when studying German years ago and she'd done this

Photo from a page of an English to German dictionary in the "f" section. The entry for the word "fuck" had been scribbled out with black pen.

This colourway yarn I have looks like the 60s aesthetic farted out yarn (in a good way) and looks nice in project pictures online which makes me wanna use it but I don't know anyone who decorates like that

Photo of a crocheted blanket done in a zig zag type pattern. The colours are mostly orange and yellow tones with a bit of coral and brown

Donate to the North Texas Wildlife Center so we can placate our grumpy possums

Screenshot of a Facebook post from the North Texas Wildlife Center page. It reads "Oh, to be an opossum angrily eating shrimp tempura in the safety of your own room." and features a photograph of an adult leucistic opossum tightly gripping and chomping on a piece of shrimp tempura. The opossum looks somewhat dishevelled, with its all white fur sticking out wildly atop its head. Its facial expression looks grumpy.

Oh fuck yes, taking a crochet break to enjoy my copy of @othatsraspberry.com's Requiem comics I shoulda bought 2 so I could frame different ones

Photograph of a small zine sitting atop a crocheted granny square. The title is "othatsraspberry presents: Resident Evil Requiem Nonsense" and the cover is a cartoon drawing of Leon S Kennedy holding up a chibi Grace Ashcroft who is crying and trembling and holding up the requiem gun, which is about as big as she is.

I figured I'd give this a go and... Delaware???? Wut?? (I've lived in the South all my life)

Screenshot of the results page from taking the dialect test from mydialect.us. It shows a map of the US that is colored to show areas that most and least match the resulting accent from the test, with the "most like" areas largely being in the south, particularly Texas.

Despite this, the results read "You talk most like someone from Delaware — about 48% of your answers match a typical resident."

Screenshot of the same test result page but for listed stats.

"Cities most & least like you
Interpolated from the nearest survey responses.

Most similar
Albuquerque, NM (46%)
Dallas, TX (46%)
Oklahoma City, OK (46%)

Least similar
Minneapolis, MN (43%)
Milwaukee, WI (44%)
Omaha, NE (44%)"

Like even with the consideration that different starting colours make the cakes look different this is sad in comparison. By itself though, it's pretty cute in a different way!

Stock photo of the Caron Sprinkle Cakes yarn. The yarn has tones of light and dark grey with a glimpse of some purple that appears in the middle of the skein. Throughout the yarn are lil flecks of brighter yellow and pink.

Photo of the skeins OP received. The colours are starkly muddier in comparison to the stock photo.

Top down look of the cake from previous photo.

I did that quiz thing I've seen so many people doing. Not quite sure about my results but I also struggle to quantify things on a scale for things like this so lol

a sketchy digital valentine drawing depicting the character Ryoko from the Tenchi anime series. She's sticking out a comically large tongue to make a silly face. The drawing ends at the tops of her shoulders and shows some cleavage, giving an illusion that she's not clothed.

Written on the card is
Ryoko!
being silly!
(probably clothed??)
