Vehicle dumper (yes, the saga continues) slept in the office of his weird falling down business last night, presumably to be here to move vehicles for the road works today (which he hasn’t yet). He did have to move one of his trailers earlier so my housemate sarcastically yelled “so it does move!”

More developments in the long running battle with our local vehicle dumper. Met a previously unknown neighbour from the next street earlier. Without prompting he went into a rant about “this twat who parks all these cars and vans round here” while pointing at said cretin’s business premises.

The one time I went to Louder Than Words I really enjoyed it, but the lack of discussion of the growing number of books about dance music culture - of which there are now loads - IMHO has been an issue for some time. Maybe the time is right for an equivalent festival for electronic music literature

Interesting what people in this survey said were signs of an improving high street. Our local HS has changed a lot - signs of slow gentrification (posh deli, expensive bakery, lovely little book store) but the greengrocers closed, the slot machine place (!) reopened after years and lots of barbers
