While I was in grad school a couple years ago, for my thesis I made a bunch of weird glitchy found sound songs and then tried to replicate them using Suno. Now matter how specific the prompts got, it never once got close. It was a bizzarre experiment, but proves the importance of intent in making.

Doing my best trying to remember the good times with this person, but it’s hard when they have burned so many bridges. They pushed so many people away who actually wanted to help so they could only surround themselves with people who reinforce their bad decisions.

It’s a struggle out there. I have a pretty good life all things considered, and I still feel it. I don’t let that hold me back from just living. Some people can’t do that. Some people can’t move forward because they are so stuck in the past. We should all evolve. It’s how it works.

You don’t need to try and save the world or have some grand plan. You don’t need to worry about your legacy. You just need to be the best version of yourself. Make smart decisions instead of impulsive ones. Take medication. Pet a dog. Go for a walk. Make art. Do whatever you can to survive.

I lost an old friend today. I am sympathetic to our struggles as humans, but you can’t help somebody who is unwilling to help themselves. When people cant accept a helping hand or advice, it becomes maddening. The person who died is not the same person I once knew. Is it sad? Absolutely.

Officially turned down a massive scholarship because even with said offer, I would have had to take out an additional 50k in loans just to cover tuition all while figuring out how to survive in NYC while working way less for 2 years straight.
