I love when fantasy series have a dude called something like Stephen the All-Seeing, Keeper of the Demon Sword, hero of the Volcano Age. But in some tiny village, he's known as Bees Steve, that weird guy who loves beekeeping. The more uppercase titles the legend has, the funnier the contrast is.

It’s been a week since I am Frankelda arrived to Netflix and what a delight this animation was! From characters to set design it was overflowing with whimsy and horror and was so much fun. And in this day and age the message of creating despite life’s challenges was encouraging as well!

Acabo de ver "Soy Frankelda" y creo que es una de las pelis stop-motion más originales que he visto. Una película preciosa sobre el amor por la literatura, la creación de historias y la amistad. Alguna vez el guión da ciertos tumbos, pero en general es muy buena. Además tiene canciones increíbles.

I am Frankelda is a visually interesting film that I recommend you all watch. It is kinda rough and a little too… “artistic” in areas, but the character and world designs are spectacular. The story is also… there… but it’s a great start for CinmaFantasma and we need more voice in this medium!
