My laptop charging cable died... three days before the SHC deadline. I was smart enough to push everything to GitHub before the battery ran out, but still, having to do the remaining work on a less than ideal setup is gonna be soooo annoying.

Only the submission deadline changed though, the contest week itself was always going to be the 23rd

I thank you a million times. The amount of times I had to redirect people to the nightly builds is frankly insane. It'd be lovely if stable releases become more frequent from now on..

I promised a new BlastEm release on September 11th... and it's still September 11th here in PST... by 16 minutes anyway. Presenting BlastEm 1.0.0 - supporting most of Sega's 16 and 8-bit hardware. It includes some new features and debugging improvements too www.retrodev.com/blastem/anno...

In light of @redhotsonic.com retiring after one final live stream soon, I took the time to make this 3D render of the SHC Box. It's been fun while it lasted, both as a viewer, and as a "glamorous assistant" on occasion.

Jesus Christ, even I felt my stomach turning when reading that. Some people really don't realize how their words can have impact before hitting Submit. Stay strong and don't let one asshole put you back into the corner ✌️

I genuinely can't wrap my mind around the fact that the human average time to fall asleep is apparently 10-20 minutes. It doesn't make sense to me.

Haven't had a case of insomnia this bad in a while. Five hours in bed and counting, only getting more and more restless.

That got under my skin. I know you're talking about the game, but seeing "you are not worth saving" first thing as I open my feed got under my skin

Not to discredit it, but personally I find that it's more so because with another autistic person as partner I don't feel the need to justify myself for it, and unmasking feels much easier. Not necessarily because I'm more drawn to them naturally.

That said, if you ever see any hacks in the future where rings randomly can't be collected in Marble Zone right after a Caterkiller has gone off screen, this is it.

New Sonic mini-hack out now! www.youtube.com/watch?v=gKSE... Got the motivation after revisiting Rayman for the recent anniversary rerelease, specifically the Dark Rayman clone gimmick that appears near the end of the game.
